We empower children and families

World Vision works to help those in extreme poverty

Supporting the vulnerable

Our focus is to help the most vulnerable children living in the most dangerous places to overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. We help children of all backgrounds, inspired by our Christian faith.

We tackle child poverty at its roots. With your support, we come alongside communities to bring lifesaving healthcare, clean water, nutrition, quality education, child protection and ways for families to make a living.

We empower communities to set their own goals for transformation and stay for up to 15 years to ensure families are self-sufficient, healthy and thriving when we leave. Because we empower children and their community, the changes we make together last.

We focus on efforts to end child poverty:

How we're working to end child poverty

We help children and families have clean water, nutritious food, better health, education, protection and ways to earn a living.

Together we’ve impacted the lives of over 200 million vulnerable children by tackling the root causes of poverty.

A brighter future is possible, but the need is acute

Our focus is on reaching children who are most vulnerable, who suffer most acutely the hardships that extreme poverty brings. By supporting them and their whole community, we empower people to break free from poverty and experience the fullness of life.
