Beautiful little Lisa Heyns (7) from the Western Cape, who has been crowned as Miss Tiny South Africa 2011 in June this year, is a bright and happy girl with a desire to contribute to the plight of those less fortunate than her.

Some of her work includes visiting the sick and elderly in hospital, AIDS homes, children’s- and old age homes, as well as attending fundraising events. She has already started with this work.

Lisa has a special affinity for children and has chosen World Vision South Africa (WVSA) as the charity to focus on during her reign, hoping to brighten up the lives of the needy. As an ambassador for WVSA, she will be involved in the World Vision Mbekweni Area Development Programme in Paarl, Western Cape. This programme seeks to promote sound community relationships built on love, hope and good moral systems that promote human dignity, and enhance the communities’ total well–being.

Anyone interested in supporting little Lisa in her humanitarian goals and partnership with WVSA is invited to speak to send an email to [email protected]

I went to your offices in Greytown today. I was shocked at the reception I received..firstly the receptionist was’nt at her post, I hung around for a few minutes then walked down the passage..everyone was eating or chatting- please note this was 9.30 am…When finally someone noticed me, I had to ask who they were, and lo and behold she was the receptionist!! The lady could not even undrestand english?? When I asked to speak to the person in charge, I was told she was not available, but refered to a gentleman in the other building, the welfare society building, who infact, had nothing to do with your offices at all!! I must say, I am shocked and aphauld that an organisation such as yours, would employ people who clearly have no passion for what they do!!

We would like to sincerely apologise for this unprofessional treatment you experienced at our office. We will surely look into the matter. Please don’t be discouraged to pop-in even next time. It is people like you that will assist us as we strive towards an excellent organization.
