While people often tend to think of South Africa as a country of prosperity (only), the painful truth is that this lovely rainbow nation also suffers from abject poverty.

Looking at the disparity between wealth and poverty, I cannot help but wonder what Jesus would have said ? and done.

I know for sure that as a nation, we should never stop thinking about the unemployed, the poor, the destitute and the starving millions.

The South African air is filled with the potential for continued development of communities of sharing. Feeding the poor; doing development work and passing on skills and training to people in need, and speaking out against unjust structures, are steps in the right direction.

Let us all have a renewed dedication towards sharing as a life style. Let us plant these mustard seeds and contribute enthusiastically wherever we can to make them grow.

You are doing a great job especially among the disadvantages. Your assistance at Albert Street School, a refugees’ school touched my heart last. I have always done voluntary teaching there as im a postgradute student at Wits doing MA in Demography and Population studies. Keep the good, work. It is also my wish to join such humanitarian organization like yours.
