For 70 years, we have been driven by a simple aim: to transform the lives of the most vulnerable children. Working in partnership with others, we can have a greater impact in the lives of those we serve, so we are proud to work with dedicated, like-minded partners to achieve this aim.

From helping companies meet their social and corporate responsibilities, to working with other charities, academia, the private sector and governments, and partnering with churches, we work with a vast range of people to create opportunities for better futures for vulnerable children and their families.

We work with companies and businesses of all sizes to create solutions that align with company goals and missions in unique, impactful ways.

NGOs, institutions and funders

World Vision have been partners with the United Nations' World Food Programme for over 30 years, working across 29 countries. Together, in 2018, we reached 9.3 million people, and 56% of them – 5.2 million – were children.

Churches

Our engagement with churches can be seen in a variety of ways including the development of resources, partnerships to end violence against chidlren, and programming including peacebuilding, water and sanitation, health, livelihoods, child protection, social cohesion, education and advocacy.

Consortium working

We work in Zimbabwe on the Improving Girls’ Access through Transforming Education (IGATE) programme to improve girls' access to education, working with many partners including CARE International, Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe, World Bicycle Relief, Happy Readers, Union for the Development of the Apostolic Church in Zimbabwe Africa, SNV, Emthonjeni Women’s Forum, the Open University (UK) and Limestone Analytics.

Academic partners

We worked on a Research for Health in Humanitarian Crisis study of nutritional outcomes for vulnerable groups in the Somalia food crisis. The study was funded by the erlha R2RHC (Research for Health in Humanitarian Crisis), and investigated how household perceive cash and voucher types of assistance modalities and the most transformative difference the assistance makes to people’s lives.

Celebrities

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, visited a school in Rwanda soon after becoming a World Vision ambassador in 2016. She helped bring clean water to a community, thanks to the donations of ordinary people worldwide. She was inspired by how this empowered women within the community.

We're one of the FCDO’s trusted organisations, implementing programmes across a wide range of sectors and countries.
We partner with The Global Fund to fight against tuberculosis in Somalia. Our work was recognised at the United Nations General Assembly, first-ever high-level meeting on tuberculosis. The Minister of Health for the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Fawziya Abikar, acknowledged World Vison’s partnership in its efforts of eradicating TB in Somalia.
We're the World Food Programmes’ largest implementing partner around the world, bringing lifesaving food to families who have lost everything in times of crisis.

Transparency and accountability are deeply important to us. Our independent auditors report is conducted in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Standards of South Africa and applicable law and transparently presented in our annual reports.
