I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.” —Matthew 25:35 (NIV)

On World Water Day, March 22, World Vision celebrated a significant milestone: Since 2016, with your generous support, we’ve reached more than 20 million people with access to clean water — even amid a global pandemic. This year we celebrated world water day in light of human rights day and advocated for the right to clean water for all children. Because of your support, children in vulnerable communities can now focus their effort on achieving their dreams for the future and not worry about walking on average 6km’s to collect water. One project to note which has had a massive impact is the watergen project in partnership with Ford. The project supports approximately 3400 households,79 schools,80 early childhood development centres and 4 clinics with fresh water.
