Sally Brown was a World Vision South Africa child sponsor based in the UK who sadly lost her life to cancer. Through this partnership, the Brown family from the UK donated money for the construction of an Early Childhood Development Centre in Enable, Limpopo to commemorate their daughter’s life. The centre is called Sally’s Place Day Care and was aptly named after Sally Nihill. It started operating in July 2008,It is equipped with several rooms, dining room, sleeping room, reading room/library/ office/ sitting areas and kitchen where the food is prepared. The Centre also has a garden; growing tomatoes, spinach, and sweet potatoes that are resold to raise an income and also for the basic running of the centre. This is surely a beautiful story of hope and the power of legacy.
