Rural schools in Eastern Cape receive computers
As part of preparing to exit the Mbashe AP, WVSA acknowledges and still prioritizes the need to further strengthen our partnerships with key stakeholders in the area in order for them to continue supporting and to ensure sustainability.
Through this partnership, WVSA, The Department of Education and Mbashe Local Municipality, handed over 75 computers to 8 secondary schools in Idutywa, Eastern Cape.
This will help improve computer literacy and digital inclusivity within the community and also grant the learners access to the internet in order for them to equip themselves with learning material and also prepare for higher education entrance. This handover benefited about 1579 learners ,out of which 678 are registered WV children.
