The protection of our nation’s children is of the utmost importance and requires us all to play our part. Minister Lindiwe Zulu, in partnership with UNICEF, hosted a National Roundtable Webinar on Child Killings, Abuse and Rape of children on Friday, 26 March 2021.

World Vision was part of the discussion represented by CEO, Bruce Layzell who emphasized the importance of working collaboratively as society and also changing the conversations amongst men and managing gender roles within our homes. Former World Vision sponsored child, Nkanyezi (13) also took to the stage to represent children, sharing a heartfelt speech calling on government and communities to work harder to protect children. “What have we done as children, is it a crime to be a child” she heavily sighted.
