Child Health Now is a global World Vision campaign aimed at ending preventable maternal and child deaths. The campaign focuses on reducing child mortality and improving maternal health.  Most of these deaths are the result of preventable diseases such as pneumonia, diarrhoea, and malaria. In South Africa, 64 000 children less than five years of age die each yearof illnesses, most of which are preventable.
